I'm Tim Read. I am 5 Fingers Creative. Providing creative solutions to your creative needs is what I do. I am a small company with big ideas.
I have a studio in Ames, Iowa where I create fun, witty, whimsical, charming and imaginative illustrations for small business, large corporations and general consumers.
With over 15 years of experience, my specialties include humorous illustration, children’s books, caricatures, character designs and portrait illustrations. My work can be applied to editorial, advertising, greeting cards, personal gifts, t-shirts, cd covers, album art, posters, book covers, children’s menus, package illustration & corporate marketing. I consider myself a versatile illustrator with experience in many mediums and styles, freehand or digital, including color pencil, watercolor as well as pen and ink. However my specialty is colorful professional digital illustration.
I also have over ten years graphic design experience in advertising and marketing design with a flare for logo design, brand identity and marketing ideas.
